Dangly wire weave earrings with amethyst beads. I handmade these one of a kind copper earrings using the same wire weaving pattern throughout to achieve a consistent look. I used bare wire to add movement and interest. I then used good quality liver of sulphur to carefully add an antique finish. This enhances the appearance of the wire weave and creates a warm, rich colour to the copper. I finished with a thorough polish by hand. Then I used a tiny paint brush to coat these earrings with Everbrite. This prevents tarnishing of the jewellery and also creates a barrier between the copper and your skin. The earrings hang from Niobium ear wires which have marvellous hypoallergenic properties.
Earring length (excluding ear wire) is 3 cm ( 1.25 inches.)
Width is 1.5 cm (approximately 0.75 inches.)
Bead size is 8 mm.
The ear wires are 2cm long ( just over 0.75 inches.)
