About
Art by Del Elle is a Liverpool-based studio that makes original hand-embroidered pieces, fine art prints, and greeting cards. The work centres on light, atmosphere and colour — pieces built up slowly in layers, each one concerned with a particular quality of sky or a specific place.
The embroidery originals are unique 1/1 pieces, hand-stitched in cotton thread and mounted in beechwood and Nurge hoops. The Sunsets and Mornings series moves through warm golds, cool blues, deep violets and blazing reds — each piece in quiet dialogue with the others. The Old Swan pieces document a Liverpool panorama that no longer exists.
Prints and greeting cards bring the same images to a wider range of budgets. Every original comes with a signed certificate of authenticity and is carefully packaged for safe delivery.
Shop Policies
Greeting Cards
Greeting cards are shipped within the UK only. Orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days via Royal Mail second-class post. Tracking is not included for standard card orders; please contact me if you require a tracked service.
Fine Art Prints
Fine art prints are shipped to the UK, USA, Canada and Australia. Orders are made to order and dispatched within 5–7 working days. Shipping is tracked; tracking information will be provided once your order has been dispatched. International delivery times vary by destination — please allow up to 14 working days for international orders.
Original Embroidery Pieces
Original embroidery pieces are shipped to the UK, USA, Canada and Australia. Orders are dispatched within 5–7 working days. Every original is carefully packaged in acid-free tissue and rigid boxing to ensure safe transit. Shipping is fully tracked and insured; tracking information will be provided once your order has been dispatched. Please allow up to 14 working days for international orders.
International buyers are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes applicable in their country.
Greeting Cards and Fine Art Prints
If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact me within 14 days of receipt with a photograph of the damage. A replacement will be sent at no additional cost, or a full refund issued if a replacement is not possible.
As greeting cards and fine art prints are made to order, refunds are not offered for change-of-mind purchases.
Original Embroidery Pieces
Original embroidery pieces are unique, handmade works. If your piece arrives damaged, please contact me within 14 days of receipt with a photograph of the damage and I will do my best to resolve the situation promptly.
As originals are unique 1/1 works, refunds are not offered for change-of-mind purchases.

Cancellations
If you need to cancel an order, please contact me as soon as possible. Cancellations can be accommodated if the order has not yet been dispatched. Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation is no longer possible.
Returns
As all items are either made to order or unique originals, returns are not accepted for change-of-mind purchases. If your item arrives damaged or not as described, please contact me within 14 days of receipt, and I will work to resolve the issue.
Exchanges
Exchanges are not offered on greeting cards, fine art prints or original embroidery pieces.
