Wax Melts
Handmade wax melts from small makers across the UK, in snap bars, shapes and clamshells. Many are made with soy wax, and each one is poured and posted by the maker.
Choosing wax melts
Wax melts give you scent without lighting the wax itself: you warm a piece in a wax burner and the fragrance fills the room. Makers here pour snap bars you break into pieces, novelty shapes and clamshells in a range of scents. Most cost between £3 and £8.50, and trying a few different makers is a good way to find a favourite.

Wax melt questions
How do I use wax melts safely?
Put one or two pieces in the dish of a wax burner, light a tealight underneath or switch on an electric burner, and never leave it unattended. Keep burners away from children, pets and anything flammable, and let the wax cool before you move the dish.
What safety information should a wax melt have?
Scented wax melts sold in the UK usually need CLP safety labelling, showing any hazard warnings, allergens and the maker's contact details. If you have allergies, check the listing or ask the maker which fragrance oils they use.
How long does a wax melt last?
It depends on the wax, the fragrance and your burner. The scent fades before the wax disappears; when it does, let the wax cool, pop it out and add a fresh piece.
