Choosing a handmade birthday card
Every card here is made in a maker's home or studio, in small batches or one at a time, rather than printed by the thousand. You'll find watercolours, stitched and embroidered fronts, layered papercraft and cards for milestone ages. Use the filters to narrow by colour, style or price; most cost between £4 and £6.
Want it to go straight to the birthday person? Enter their address for delivery at checkout. If a few birthdays are coming up, it's worth keeping some blank cards in the drawer too.
Birthday card questions
When will my card arrive?
Each maker posts their own orders, so timings vary. The listing shows an estimated arrival date before you buy. For a birthday on a fixed day, order with a few days to spare. If an order never turns up, Buyer Protection refunds you in full.
Can I ask for a name, age or message?
Some makers personalise cards, and the listing explains how to add your details. If you can't see an option, use the Contact seller button on the listing to ask before you order.
