The Celtic Eagle Tapestry Kit is designed to be sewn either as a circle or as a square; Simply don’t sew the corners if you want the circle!
Like the Celtic Peacocks and the Celtic Bird, the Eagle was inspired by the Book of Kells.
The Eagle represents the Evangelist, St. John and is a theme found throughout the manuscripts.
It is a simple design sewn in rich wools on a dark red background. A beautiful teal is used to fill in the corners.
The Eagle is worked in soft green and shades terra cotta, in a medallion and bar design reminiscent of the original artwork.
This Animal Fayre Designer Tapestry kit contains everything you will need to make it. There’s loads of wool, a pattern folder, wool organiser cards to keep everything neat and safe.

There’s an excellent, high quality chart which shows you exactly where to place your stitches, even better, you can share the chart with friends when you have finished your beautiful needlework!
There are a few handy extras such as an organza wool bag and a couple of organiser card to keep your wools tidy and ready for when you will need them.
