Acorn and Oak Leaf Petit Point kit was one I redesigned for Traquair House from an old petit point panel dating from the Stuart Period. There’s a photo of the original amazing embroidery in the gallery.
Petit Point is sometimes called needlepoint and is always stretched on a frame.
This kit is embroidered on 14HPI blank interlock mono canvas.
I’ve used subtle shades of russet and primrose combined with forest green for the foliage on a traditional buff background to mimic the original embroidery.
This has a wonderful historical feel which doesn’t seem out of place in a contemporary setting.
This Animal Fayre Designer Tapestry kit contains everything you will need to make it. There’s loads of wool, a pattern folder, wool organiser cards to keep everything neat and safe.

There’s an excellent, high quality chart which shows you exactly where to place your stitches, even better, you can share the chart with friends when you have finished your beautiful needlework!
