Wire wrap Mahogany Obsidian pendant with Rolo link chain. I wire wrapped this gorgeous Mahogany Obsidian cabochon by hand and formed a ‘rose like’ detail at the top. I created a wire weave bail to hold the Rolo chain. I then carefully oxidised the pendant to create an attractive antique finish. Then I dextrously and patiently polished it by hand with needle files and mini sanding tools. To finish, I used a fine brush to coat all the copper wire with Everbrite to prevent tarnishing of the pendant. An 18 inch manufactured antique copper colour chain with a Lobster clasp completes this pendant and is included with your purchase.
Excluding bail length, this pendant is 4.5 cm in length. (One and three quarter inches.)
Mahogany Obsidian is a natural volcanic glass and was formed following a volcanic eruption by the cooling and solidification of molten lava.
