Wire wrapped Flourite in Feldspar cabochon pendant. I wire wrapped this stunning ethically sourced cabochon in a simple design and the only adornment is by a subtle spiral at the top of the pendant just below the bail. I designed this piece of jewellery so that the beauty of the cabochon would not be overpowered. This Flourite in Feldspar cabochon is wonderfully marked by dark blue ‘stripes’ on a cream coloured background and has been ethically sourced.
After oxidising this piece of jewellery to add an antique finish to the copper, I carefully polished by hand using needle files and mini sanding tools to create a perfect finish. Then I used a tiny paint brush to apply a coat of Everbrite to the wire wrap and wire weave to prevent tarnishing of the pendant and to provide a protective barrier between the copper and your skin.
An 18 inch manufactured, antique copper colour Cable link chain with a Lobster clasp is included with this lovely pendant and hangs from its bail which is 1cm in length.
(Excluding bail length) the pendant is 5.5 cm in length and its width is 1.5 cm.
