Holme Oak Log Bowl – hand turned exposing the natural features in this tactile wood.
This practical, as well as decorative piece measures approximately 17 cm ( 6.5inches) x 18cm (7inches) at its extremes and is 6 cm (2.5 inches) high.
Articles made from wood are as unique as you with beautiful imperfections and designs that are only ever created in nature – this log bowl is no exception.
The bowl was crafted in North Somerset from Cornish Holme Oak ( Quercus Ilex), an evergreen, broadleaf tree which can grow up to 20 meters and is often found along UK coasts, where it has been part of the landscape for over 500 years.
