Hand turned and decorated this ash bowl measures approximately 13.5cm (5.25inches) in diameter at its widest and is 9.5cm (3.5inches) high.
Designed and crafted in North Somerset uk the decoration was inspired when watching The Great Pottery Throw Down on TV when contestants were asked to throw a bowl and then decorate it in Acoma style.
Acoma are a native American nation famous for their pottery decorating skills and styles.
Pyrography was used to draw out and infill the darker areas and a single brown/red paint was used to highlight some areas of the design.
Finished with sealant, lacquer and wax polish this is a decorative and practical bowl.
Signed on the bottom.
