Wire weave Green Aventurine earrings fitted with great quality Niobium hypoallergenic ear wires. I designed and handmade these stunning earrings by meticulously weaving 28 gauge copper beading wire across 6mm diameter copper core wires. They were created by using 3 different wire weaves which catch the light in different ways and create texture and interest. For exquisite, dainty detail, I have used some of the core wire to form tiny swirls at the base of each earring. I also formed an eye catching bare wire curve, which I skillfully placed on the inner edge of the earrings to reflect the light and to cradle the beautiful, Green Aventurine beads. I have oxidised the earrings to give them an attractive and fashionable antique finish and they are a gorgeous warm, rusty brown colour. To complete the quality finish of this pair of earrings, I have patiently and carefully used my skill to polish them by hand. To do this I used wire wool, needle files and mini sanding tools and then, to ensure longevity, I have coated the earrings with Everbrite to prevent tarnishing and also to create a barrier between the copper and your skin.
Excluding the ear wire length, the wire weave component of each earring is 1.5 cm in length.
