Each board is made from carefully selected sustainable European Oak, chosen for its natural beauty, strength and performance.
The reverse of the board is intended as the cutting surface and features a beautifully engraved verse from Beneath the Stag Moon:

The board is treated with pure food-grade mineral oil blended with citrus oil, which penetrates the oak and leaves a subtle fresh citrus scent.
No plastics or lacquers are used, and premium food-contact-approved adhesive is used where required.
