Inspired by frozen landscapes and crisp winter mornings, Frostfall combines multiple shades of soft blue resin with shimmering blue foil inclusions and a subtle touch of white diamond mica powder (ultra-fine glitter) to create a striking oversized D20 with a cool, icy aesthetic.
Created using a split-cup pouring technique, the colours blend naturally throughout the die, ensuring each piece develops its own unique patterns and character. The addition of metallic foil catches the light beautifully, while the mica powder provides a delicate sparkle reminiscent of freshly fallen snow.
What makes Dice Gryphon different?
Each die is individually handcrafted in the UK using a meticulous multi-stage casting process designed to achieve exceptional clarity, balance, and durability. Resin is first vacuum degassed to remove trapped air before being pressure cured to minimise any remaining micro-bubbles and maximise transparency. Following curing, every die is carefully sanded and polished to a high-gloss finish, before being hand-inked and quality checked.
Dice Gryphon’s oversized sharp-edge design also provides additional weight in the hand, creating a more substantial and satisfying rolling experience while also allowing for larger, high-contrast numbering that remains easy to read at a glance. The result is a die that feels as impressive to roll as it looks on display, even during those atmospheric low-light gaming sessions.
