On the front of the Board of Power is the original Elvish inscription found inside the Ring of Power, the Black Speech reading “Ash nazg durbatulûk, ash nazg gimbatul, ash nazg thrakatulûk, agh burzum-ishi krimpatul”. On the back is the same inscription, but envraved in an Elvish-style font which is readable to the eyes of mortal men (and women and non-gender-conforming mortals).

We use only the best timber, hand-picked for its performance and appearance, and all of our timber is 100% sustainable. This chopping & serving board is 1.9cm thick for general use in the kitchen as a chopping board, bread board and serving board, and for outdoor use such as barbeques.
It is an entirely natural product, and we don’t use any plastics or lacquers. We use premium water-safe food-contact approved adhesive to make these boards entirely food safe, and ensure they last for years in your home.
This board is treated with plant-based Worktop oil for stability, then pure Tung oil (extracted from the nut of the Vernicia fordii tree), and finished in Citrus Oil for a deep colour and delightful orange scent.
Oak – a fairly dark, hard and characterful British hardwood which suits rustic and country kitchens.
Beech – very hard and uniform which gives a strikingly dark engraving, and a slightly red hue to the oiled finish. Ideally suited for hard use in the kitchen.
Bamboo – incredibly strong and tough, with an attractive and structural cross-laminated core
Care: Wipe with a damp cloth only, and please don’t put *any* Ring of Power in the dishwasher! That would be a great way to lose it.
