Inspired by nature, this floral lace trim is shuttle tatting by me on the Kent coast, in high quality cotton thread. It features a series of tiny double stitches to create this design.

To make your choice, please tell me 1) your colour choice in the ‘Colour’ box on the right and 2) your length choice in the checkboxes in the ‘Length’ section, also on the right. Each order will be sent in one continuous length. If you’d like a longer length, please contact me and I will create a listing for you.
This edging is flexible, meaning it can be used in a variety of craft projects such as mixed media, card making, sewing projects and more.
Finishing suggestions:
If this edging will be cut, you could unpick the loose threads to the next ring or chain and either tie a knot or sew in and out of the lace, tucking in the ends in fabric or snipping close to the lace. You could also glue where you’ve cut the lace with fabric glue or all purpose glue.
Height: 12mm (1/2 an inch).
Length of each repeat (top ring, chain, bottom ring, chain): 10mm (approximately just over 3/8th of an inch).
Thickness: approximately 1mm (1/32 of an inch).
Each order will arrive with a free practice length of lace so you can see how best you wish to use it.
Care instructions included. It can be hand washed.
Please note:
– Depending on the dye lots, some trims may be narrower with a few more rings than others.
– Due to the nature of variegated thread, each trim in those colours will be unique.
– Colours vary slightly depending on computer monitor.
