Hares are a staple of the British Countryside and they are much loved by lots of people. This beautiful hand drawn artwork would be happy in any animal lovers home especially one with that farm cottage style.
Using pastelmat paper I created a base layer with pan pastels and built up the details of the hares wiry fur and grassy shoots with pastel pencils. All materials used are of the highest archival quality so that your artwork stays in beautiful condition throughout its lifetime.
It has been mounted using an archival hinge mounting method with an acid free card picture mount and backing board measuring 12 by 16 inches.
Your artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity and a care guide on how to take care of your artwork.
I recommend consulting a professional framer for your piece, however if you choose to frame yourself there are a few things you can take into account to protect the piece.
Always handle using the mount or the pastel free edges if you are changing the mount. Ensure you choose a glass pane as the static from any acrylic alternative can pull the pastel pigment from the piece. It is also a good idea to use framers tape around the back of the frame to avoid any heat or moisture from damaging the artwork.
