Non-tarnising copper earrings fitted with hypoallergenic ear wires

Beautifully understated copper earrings which have been coated with Everbrite to prevent tarnishing.

I made the coiled coil by wrapping 0.315 mm diameter, (28 gauge) copper wire, around 0.6 mm diameter copper. I used bare uncoated wire for this.

I then lightly oxidised these earrings to create a subtle antique finish.

These earrings are fitted with high quality Niobium hypoallergenic ear wires and are an excellent choice if you have had adverse reactions to other ear wires.

The earring length is approximately just over 0.5 inches (1.5 cm)

The ear wires are 2 cm in length.

Handmade copper coiled coil dangly earrings with Niobium hypoallergenic ear wires

I created these earrings by carefully wrapping 0.315 mm (28 gauge) bare copper wire around 0.6 mm diameter bare copper wire. I then coiled this around another length of 0.6 mm diameter bare copper wire. I added a lovely subtle antique finish by lightly oxidising them. After this, I meticulously polished these earrings by hand to create a beautiful and professional finish.

Finally, I applied a liberal coating of Everbrite which will protect these earrings from tarnishing.

I have fitted these earrings with high quality Niobium hypoallergenic ear wires. Niobium is a metal which has superb hypoallergenic properties, so these earrings are the perfect choice if you have sensitivities.

The length of each earring is approximately 0.5 inches, (half an inch) which is around 1.5 cm.

The ear wires measure 2 cm in length.
