Boswellic acids, including AKBA, are found only in the resin itself, and only accessible through extraction. Our balm contains our own professionally extracted frankincense resin powder, retaining these naturally occurring compounds in full. This is what sets it apart.
Frankincense carterii is prized for its higher concentration of AKBA, while serrata contributes a broader spectrum of boswellic acids. Together they offer a more complete resin acid profile than either variety alone. Formulated with 10% frankincense resin extract powder for a richly concentrated balm.

The scent is warm and softly spiced, with notes of sweet citrus, ginger, honeyed frankincense and smooth balsamic woods. The aroma develops naturally from the infusion of serrata and carterii frankincense resin, layered with copaiba, cardamom, ginger and sweet orange essential oils for a deep, golden aromatic profile.
HOW TO USE:
Warm a small amount between clean fingertips and apply gently wherever desired.

FULL INGREDIENTS
– Boswellia serrata and Boswellia carterii 10% resin extract powder – naturally containing boswellic acids including AKBA, KBA, α-boswellic acid and β-boswellic acid.
– Organic Cold-Pressed Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia chinensis Seed Oil) infused with Boswellia serrata and Boswellia carterii resin – technically a liquid wax rather than an oil, with a molecular structure closely resembling the skin’s natural sebum; naturally containing vitamin E, vitamin B complex, and plant sterols including campesterol and beta-sitosterol
– Beeswax (Cera alba) – natural botanical wax that gives the balm structure and a rich protective texture
– Organic Mango Butter (Mangifera indica Seed Butter) – smooth plant butter naturally containing oleic and stearic fatty acids
– Organic Ginger CO2 Extract (Zingiber officinale Root Extract) – concentrated aromatic botanical extract with a warm spicy profile, distinct from the ginger essential oil listed below.
– Natural Vitamin E (Tocopherol) – plant-derived antioxidant that helps maintain product freshness
