Beautiful, Medieval style Tapestry Kit, Unicorn’s Meadow.

The central panel shows the unicorn sitting in the meadow surrounded by wild flowers. The outer panels are filled with violas (hearts ease), strawberries, and Harebells. The column of interlinked chain is a nod to the medieval unicorn tapestries, which show the unicorn tamed by collar and chain. The whole design is framed by a leafy border. Spot the ladybirds and the snail!!

Sewn using Victorian cross stitch, no need for a frame.

Optional ** I mixed some stranded cotton and gold lame in with the tapisserie wool used in the unicorn embroidery. I also added some black beads to the centre of the pansies and to highlight the ladybirds. Please see the photo gallery. The beads and embroidery thread are included in the kit.
