The toco toucan, the largest and best-known toucan species, is at home in South America’s tropical forests. Its oversized, colorful bill has made it one of the world’s most popular birds. They can weigh nearly two pounds and grow to 25 inches long, with their bill accounting for nearly half of their length.
My baubles are made with acrylic yarn, safety eyes and satin ribbon loops for hanging. They are filled with toy stuffing, and are sized at 6-7 cm in diameter, not including the beak. All items are hand made, and there may be some slight variation from bauble to bauble of the same bird species as a result.
