The ‘Actor and the Actress’ is an acrylic painting on canvas and is based on an oriental painting from around the Edo period (1615-1868). I do like Japanese and Chinese art work and the delicacy and simple detail from around this flourishing period. It is a fascinating culture with a unique style.
