Who wouldn’t want to enjoy stitching this quirky snail tapestry kit. I certainly loved every stitch!
The design uses very rich jewel shades. The shell is highly detailed with individual patterns. The snail’s body is sewn using warm shades of terracotta, which contrast the dark jade background. The background has deep purple spiral sand dot patterns, and the whole tapestry is framed with a colourful spotty border.
As with all my designs, this Tapestry uses wool shades in common with my other designs, so my entire design collection coordinates.
Sewn using Victorian cross stitch, no need for a frame.
