Long ago, the forests that surround Llanbadarn Afreal were not safe for humans to walk after dark, for the wild was the domain of the Otherfolk. It is said that the Royalty of their kind often held court hereabouts, with this Sceptre being just one of their symbols of power.
Though with the passing of countless mortal lifetimes since the last time They held court here it’s power has vanished, as a symbol it still remains a stark reminder of what may still lie just beyond the Veil.
