Handknitted, 100% wool. Shouln’t need a wash as wool is self-cleaning. Just leave it for day or two and it will be as good as new. If wash is needed, hand wash only in cool or luke warm water, without much agitation. No wringing, just squeese gently and press between towels. Dry flat .
