This is a striking, hand-turned twist ball point pen that beautifully balances rustic nature with modern craftmanship.
The Body: Crafted from spalted alder, featuring a warm cream tone naturally marbled with dark ,dramatic fungal lines.it is sealed under a glass like, high gloss protective finish
The Accent: A vibrant, turquoise-dyed wood veneer inlay cuts an elegant, smooth curve down the length of the barrel
How it is made: Before the wood blank was turned into a round pen on the lathe, the turner made a precise ,curved cut down the length of the square wooden block.
The Inlay: They then sandwiched a piece of dyed wood veneer (in this case ,dyed a vibrant turquoise/teal ) into the cut and glued it back together .
The Result : Once the square block was turned down into a cylinder on the lathe, that flat slice of veneer revealed itself as a smooth, elegant, flowing curve wrapped around the contour of the pen.
The Hardware: Finished with polished chrome components .
The Operation. To extend and retract nib simply twist the top of the pen half a turn clockwise to retract turn anti clockwise.to change the parker style refill unscrew pen tip and replace being mindful of the small spring.
