Pressed flowers and plants in second hand, up-cycled frames with botanical names.
I am currently in my second year of the RHS Apprenticeship, working at RHS Harlow Carr.
To learn plants, I collect samples and press them (flower, leaf or the whole plant) then label with their botanical name. I often press multiples of the same plant in case one doesn’t work out, which leaves me with surplus that I can’t bear to throw away!
I decided to start framing the surplus as artwork, with frames that I collect from second-hand shops, and with my own collection of collage materials.
All flowers and plants have either been grown myself, at RHS Harlow Carr or collected with permission when visiting other botanical gardens.
All items are one of a kind, handmade and cannot be re-produced.
Plants are seasonal and subject to weather conditions.
Botanical names are correct as of 2026 but could change!
The colour may fade over time as these are 100% natural products - please avoid putting in direct sunlight.
