Fused glass iridescent flower wreath hung from black velvet ribbon. This beautiful wreath looks stunning against a wall, hanging in a open space or in a window to allow the light to pass through. Making it an ideal gift or decoration for your own home at any time of the year. The flowers are a mix of green, blue, bronze and purple sparkly iridescent cut glass. The purple flowers are transparent which makes them even more beautiful when light shines through the wreath.
Made from Bullseye sheet glass frits (chunks of glass) and hand pulled vitrigraph stringers (thin strands of glass) fired twice in my kiln to give the wreath more depth. By including some vitrigraph and frits with the clear sheet glass in the initial firing it allows the colour to be embedded in the glass.
The wreath measures approximately 14.5cm in diameter the central hole is approximately 5cm in diameter and the red velvet ribbon has a drop of approximately 10cm and 1cm in width. The weight of the wreath and ribbon is approximately 132grams.
The wreath is sold in a handmade card presentation box which is lined with felt (photo in the gallery is an example).
The item will be shipped in an external shipping box with additional bubble wrap, reinforced with corrugated card and placed in an envelope clearly marked as Fragile. Postage is Royal Mail 2nd class and Glass Ferns will dispatch within 1 business day.
