Dog and Snake Tapestry Cushion kit is one of the most unusual in my collection. This wall-hanging depicts a dog-like creature which has a large snake entwined around it. Another snake hovers overhead.
It was inspired by a block-print from Central Asia and is sewn in the rich colours
of Kelim Rugs.

The dog is sewn in gold, blue and cream with randomly shaped spots all over.
The background comprises of gold motifs floating on a mixture of two reds sewn seemingly at random.
A broad border with a wave pattern surrounds the whole design.
This would make a pleasing project for any needle-worker.

This Animal Fayre Designer Tapestry kit contains everything you will need to make it. There’s loads of wool, a pattern folder, wool organiser cards to keep everything neat and safe.

There’s an excellent, high quality chart which shows you exactly where to place your stitches, even better, you can share the chart with friends when you have finished your beautiful needlework!
There are a few handy extras such as an organza wool bag and a couple of organiser card to keep your wools tidy and ready for when you will need them.
I’ve popped in two needles so you have a spare.
The whole kit is in a lush black gift bag.
