Banishing Crystal – human hand | rude gesture | flip the bird

Description

Sometimes the very ground itself is filled with contempt for the mortals who walk upon it, and Llanbadarn Afreal is no exception. Deep in the crystal caves, this ill-feeling can manifest in unusual ways, such as seen in what we call the Banishing Crystals: gemstones grown into the shape of a humanoid hand fixed in an insulting and vulgar gesture, set within deposits of clear quartz.

Please try not to take it personally: even the rocks have bad days.

Some of the locals have taken to using them as part of their meditations, holding the crystals to their forehead and enthusiastically voicing their frustrations in the direction of who- or whatever vexes them at the moment.
