Going away, or just need a break? Vacation mode keeps your shop visible but stops new orders, so you do not come home to a queue of parcels. Shoppers see your listings and a message from you, but the buy button is switched off.
Turning it on
- Go to Settings, then Store Settings, and scroll to Vacation Mode.
- Tick Enable Vacation Mode.
- Choose Instantly close to pause right now, or Date range and enter a start and end date if you want it to switch itself on and off.
- Write a short Vacation Message. It appears on your shop page and on every product, so say when you are back: “Away until 14 March, orders reopen then. Thank you for your patience!”
- Click Save Store Settings.
What shoppers see
Your shop and products stay in search and on the marketplace, with your message shown on each one. Products cannot be added to the basket. Anyone who has your shop in their likes can still find you when you are back.
Before you go
- Send anything already ordered. Vacation mode stops new orders; it does not pause existing ones or the dispatch time you promised.
- Reply to open messages, or add your away dates to your vacation message so people know why you are quiet.
- If you are on a date range, check the end date is right. The shop reopens by itself and orders start coming in again.
Turning it off
Untick Enable Vacation Mode and save. Your listings are buyable again straight away. If you used a date range, it turns off on the end date without you doing anything.
