I make wooden fidget/comfort toys from found and sustainable sources.

Each chip is unique, with wood selected from a variety of ethical sources for rich grains and interesting wood patterns. Each one is hand-sawn and hand-finished with a minimal amount of machine assistance, making for a far more eco-friendly alternative to the plethora of plastic and metal fidget toys in the shops.

These chips have to be felt to be truly understood! Here's something calming and pleasing about having a particularly-shaped and beautifully smooth piece of wood in your hand. The chips are all unique but follow a standard design with opposing curved corners, hard straight edges, a single rolled edge and a couple of sharp points. All of these were developed to feel satisfying in the hand, to turn over in your palm, to run your thumb along, to press into.

Each chip can also be personalised from a choice of three fonts using laser engraving. If you'd like something more bespoke, then please get in touch!
