On an Easter evening, an ink sketch of a sunset — the first of seven studies exploring the same quality of warmth. Warm Sunset reduces landscape to its most essential elements: layers of gold, amber, and ochre giving way to a cooler horizon, red clouds catching the last of the day. The marker ink original builds colour slowly, each layer deepening what came before.
Printed on archival cotton paper with a natural white finish and a softly textured surface — a fine art substrate that handles the layered colour of the original well.
