Description
Who doesn’t love a Highland Coo?! Maybe its their mop of hair that makes it seem impossible for them to see where they’re going or their shiny noses, whatever it is with their distinctive horns and long wavy coats they are certainly popular.
Although they can be found in reddish or black colourways apparently Queen Victoria once commented that she preferred the red variety and this led to selective breeding of that colouring which is why they are more commonly found now.
The print was produced using the Giclee method which replicates the original artwork with great accuracy, printed on 310 gsm archival Hahnemuhle German Etching paper to ensure the highest quality.
Mount and frame not supplied
This piece was originally hand drawn with artist grade colour pencils and the Giclee art print retains all of those fine details from the original pieces. The Giclee method uses archival inks and a spraying method to capture all of the fine detail and be as true to the artwork as possible.
