Deep reds and oranges blazing in cloud forms against a yellow sky, a lake shore curving along the lower left, a lake surface spreading across the lower right. Two small, pale pink buildings at the horizon, almost dissolved by the light. Where Warm Sunset abstracts landscape entirely, Bright Sunset holds onto place — a specific geography, a specific hour. The marker ink original was built up in layers until the piece found its own temperature.
