A one-off hand made felt cloche hat, felted from ultra-fine merino wool with a black to grey ombre. As a hand-felted original there will never be another hat exactly like this one, so a truly unique piece.
The wool is carefully laid in multiple fine layers and hand felted to form a basic hat shape. This is then hand-blocked and shaped, with a wired and hand-sewn brim. An asymmetrical felt ribbon detail with contrast feature tacking is finished with an ombre crinoline bow and three black feathers.
