Hello, and welcome to Weaves by Vai, my cosy crochet corner, where I showcase my beautiful handcrafted crochet creations.

My Crochet Journey- I started crocheting as a teen, quite by accident, really. I was struggling with a knitting project at school, finding it tricky handling tension and dropping stitches.

A friend took pity and introduced me to a crochet hook. Swapping two knitting needles for one crochet hook was a game-changer! I was hooked (pun very much intended 😃) and have been crocheting ever since.

I started off crocheting the usual woolly hats and scarves for friends and family, but now include a wide variety of pieces in my arsenal, in a range of different materials.

I adore intricate stitch work, and am known for my attention to detail and use of quality materials.
