Having had many dogs over the years and seen them struggle with steps and furniture as they grow older I saw the need to have a ramp to help them with the patio step and a proper ramp for the furniture, something nice to blend in with my sofa and living room to help them gain access to the couch without jumping and possibly straining their back.There was nothing suitable out there in the market, only flimsy extendable ramps that were wobbly when the dog got to the top, so I decided to make my own to ease the stress and strain on backs and joints that my dogs were experiencing.
The Dog Ramp Workshop was born!
That was some years ago, I now make beautiful custom pet ramps for that awkward garden step or patio door and even specialist ramps for that high-up dog/pet flap in the door that causes a problem. I craft a unique selection of ramps for furniture and beds to enable your dog/pet to gain easy access without the need for jumping, helping to protect their health and avoid ivdd and expensive vet bills.Furniture ramps can be crafted to blend in with your decor, finished in an attractive designer fabric or a traditional wood clad stained or painted finish. Experience: I've been making ramps now for some 10 years and courier to all parts of the UK and Northern Ireland.
Build time from order is usually around 10 working days and you'll be updated during the build, ramps are sturdy and strong, sofa ramps are built with an all wood inner frame for strength and outside step/flap/patio ramps are weather-proofed and have a yacht varnish finish.
