Standing approximately 6.5 inches / 16.5 cms high this vessel is 3.5 inches /9cms in diameter at its widest point. It is hand turned by me using native sycamore that has an interesting grain pattern caused by the spalting of the wood during its drying period. The finial top is turned from a piece of recycled Sapele which is a type of mahogany often used in window manufacture. An occasional application of a soft wax like beeswax (or lip balm if you use it) left to dry a few minutes then polished off will see this item retain its natural beauty for years.
