Magical Storm Colour Shifting Suncatcher with silhouette wire tree

This free standing sun catcher is designed to sit on a sunny windowsill, where different levels of light change the colour of the background.

The background is made of several sheets of dichromatic film, I used a blow torch to create the effects then ironed them flat to fuse them together. The background is pink/purple tones with full sunlight and changes to green and copper metallic tones with lower light levels (see video link above).

The tree is a black silhouette made from jewellery grade wire, twisted to resemble a tree caught in a magical storm. Colourful shell fragments and blue apatite crystals surround the roots.

This is a true one of a kind item and would make a really special gift.
