In the flower filled clearings these majestic and somewhat unusual snails can sometimes be seen grazing. Slow, ponderous, and in no hurry at all they graze on the wildflowers and grasses found in their favourite spots. A rare sight, but they appear to be a social species. Where you see one snail, you will probably see more. This particular variant grow peculiar shells that appear to look like skulls. Yet they seem to have no malice and are gentle, content to browse for greens and flowers, despite their unsettling appearance.

This snail stands at approximately 11cm tall to the tip of its’ ‘horns’, and 14-15 cm long.
