Copper wire wrapped Phrenite, non-tarnishing pendant and chain

I designed and handmade this one of a kind, copper pendant, by capturing this wonderfully translucent, Phrenite cabochon, with 1mm diameter, bare copper wire. I used 0.315mm diameter, (28 gauge) bare copper wire to create the bail, using a Figure 8 wire weaving pattern to achieve this. I used a different wire weaving pattern to add decoration beneath the bail and formed this into a gentle curve. I used tight spirals of bare copper wire to add embellishment to this curve, to add texture and highlights.

After hand polishing, I oxidised the pendant to give an antique finish, which contrasts beautifully with the green colour of the Phrenite.

After a final, thorough hand polish, I carefully applied a generous coat of Everbrite to protect the pendant from tarnish.

This pendant includes an 18-inch, manufactured, antique copper colour, Cable Link chain with an attractive Lobster clasp.

I use eco and FSC Certified Gift Boxes and eco packaging.

I send all my jewellery by Royal Mail Tracked postage and offer this as a free service.
