Shipping
We aim to dispatch all orders within 3 working days. Due to our location in the Scottish Highlands, occasional delays (e.g., due to weather or power outages) may occur often enough we have to include this disclaimer! We will communicate any delays and keep you informed.
We currently ship within the UK as standard. For international orders, please email us to discuss shipping options and customs requirements. Some countries restrict the import of natural materials like wood, and buyers are responsible for any customs fees.
All orders within the UK are sent via Royal Mail or Parcel Force and will be tracked. Tracking numbers will be provided by email once the order has been despatched.
Packing Materials
We use recycled packing materials where possible and feasible, which are generally recyclable once delivered. We do use some products, such as the green bubble wrap and packing beans which are compostable. The packing beans we use are actually made of pea protein and are water soluble too, so these can either be put into landfill with no negative environmental, they’re actually good food for bugs and micro-organisms. We enjoy putting them in the sink and water run over them to dissolve… simple pleasures! Being a pea protein, they’re safe for septic tanks too.
We also use uncoated cardboard boxes where possible, and a tape that uses a cellulose adhesive and natural wax coating, so these can be used in your compost heap, or to pad your planters without the worry of introducing plastics to your soil.

Buyers have the right to cancel their purchase within 14 days of receiving the item. You must notify us of your intention to return within this period, and return the item within 14 days of notification. Refunds will be processed once the item has been received and inspected. The buyer is responsible for the shipping cost, including the tracking and insurance of the item. The item must be returned in identical condition to how it was received and must be returned unused.
If you receive an item damaged, please provide photographs of the item and the packaging as soon as possible. We will arrange collection of the damaged item and we will manage the issue with our carrier (Royal Mail or Parcel Force). We will process the refund once the item has been received.
Refunds will only be processed through Squarespace Payments and PayPal, with refunds only being sent to the same payment method.
If an item develops a flaw within six months of the delivery date, please get in touch with photographs and details of the issue. If the issue has been caused through the production of the item, we will endeavour to rectify the issue either through refund or repair, at the buyer's discretion. If an issue has been caused by user error, such as poor cleaning practices (e.g. using a dishwasher), then no refund will be offered. However, if the item can be rescued, we will offer to repair the item at the buyer's cost. The return of the faulty item will initially be at the buyer’s expense, which will be reimbursed if the fault is confirmed to be a production issue.
