Beautiful Kumihimo Beaded Necklace with a Beaded Starfish Pendant

The ‘rope’ section of the necklace is made using a Japanese Braiding technique called Kumihimo. The seed beads are loaded to the cord at the beginning of the project and added one at a time, during the Braiding process.
The Beaded Kumihimo Pink ‘Rope’ has been embellished with cream beads spiralling round, these were added after the ‘rope’ had been braided.
The Starfish, is a pattern by Kelly Dale, from Off the Beaded Path
It is beaded in pink and cream in two halves, stitched together and then a beaded bail was added to complete the pendant.
End caps were added to the end of the Braid and a Toggle Clasp was added for ease of fastening.
