Hi, I’m Lauren!

I live in a mid-century style home on the edge of the Lake District with my amazing partner and our beautiful pooch. I’m a retro fashion enthusiast, animal welfare champion, craft lover and keen home cook.

I’ve been obsessed with food for as long as I can remember. I’ve fond childhood memories of baking with my Nana and creating a makeshift café for imaginary customers in her living room. Even at a young age I enjoyed flicking through the pages of cookbooks, copying dishes I’d seen on TV and making up meal ideas of my own.

Life has a habit of getting in the way but after turning the big 3-0, I built up the courage to persue my passion. I purchased a domain name, designed a site and started sharing my recipes and crafts online.
