Where does your business name come from?

So I’ve always loved the moon and stars. My dad would take me outside at night so I could look up at the night sky and I remember being fascinated by them. And myy other half, little one and myself were all born under crescent moons and I’ve been crafty my whole life :)!

What do you love about your business?

I’ve got the freedom to create what I want. It gives me a focus and escape from life. The creative community is so incredibly supportive and also all the amazing fellow small business owners I’ve met along the way, some of them have become really good friends!

What’s your absolute favourite item you sell? If possible, please share a photo of your item.

Ooh let me think, this one’s hard! I always try and make things that I would want myself (and sometimes I do make extra so I can have one too lol) but I’d have to say maybe my plant hangers. I absolutely love making them because they’re not only functional but can totally transform a space of any size and I think they give the ultimate boho feel which I absolutely love! 😌🪴 (if only I could keep my own plants alive! 😆🙈)

What does your workspace look like?

I work from home full time so I share my space with my day job. I have pretty much everything I need to hand for a lot of my projects and have an office tidy underneath my desk/craft table but I also squeeze some things into my wardrobe (good job it’s big!) and I have a display stand that I use for making my wall hangings and plant hangers on!

Where do you get your inspiration from?

I love a bit of boho style and the moon so luckily that gives me a wide range that I can gather inspiration from. I love the outdoors and love a house with lots of cute and pretty pieces in so I always think of what I would like to put in my own home in the hope that others like the same style and things as me! 😆

What would you say to someone thinking about selling their work online for the first time?

Know your ‘why?’ Why is it you’re wanting to sell your work, what do you want to gain from it and where are you hoping it takes you. Once you know these things, you can start putting a plan in place on what you want to create and why and how and when you’re going to do it.Make sure you set yourself small, manageable goals to reach, remember to take time out and celebrate every win along the way. And find yourself a supportive tribe! Oh, and open up a CMUK shop 😉

Where can we find your work other than on Crafter’s Market UK?

My work is available exclusively on Crafter’s Market UK!
