The Skimpy French Knickers are a comfortable high-waist style, perfect for everyday wear, for outerwear or festival clothing. They are a high leg style and finish high at the waist. The pattern is for non-stretch fabric so can be used for a versatile range of fabrics (we recommend you sew a test garment first).

This pattern is an intermediate pattern. The download comes with basic step by step instructions (order of construction), however knowledge of lingerie techniques would be needed (fold over elastic, rolled hems etc.)

The skills required with this pattern are:
– French seams
– Sewing lingerie elastics (fold over elastic)
– Rolled hem / pin hem
– Cutting on the bias

Please note pattern is for A4 paper.

***Hem Options***
This pattern has the option of a flatter edge or the option to have a fluted edge. The garment pictured above as a very fluted edge.

We recommend you sew a test garment in a the same or similar fabric to check size and fit before sewing in your final fabric.
