I wanted to make my own silk ribbons that you won’t see anywhere else. I use a low immersion dyeing technique with Procion dyes that gives a beautiful dappled effect so I can recreate all the amazing colour combinations you see in the natural world.

They are made in small batches in my home studio.

I’ve always loved the chartreuse green and greyish blues that you find in lichen so this was my first choice!
