N Gauge or 1:148 Scale Railway Diorama of a Disused Railway Siding – 364mm x 364mm – 3

A Bespoke Three Dimensional N Gauge or 1:148 Scale Railway Diorama made by me.

I have been a skilled scale model maker for a number of years. I only use materials that are of superior quality manufactured by market leaders in scale model scenery.

This hand crafted diorama displays a disused siding which has been neglected and allowed to become overgrown.

All construction and finishing is done by hand. There are no aerosol sprays or airbrushing used.

Adhesives used are mostly water based

The diorama shows the siding with rusting wagons and break van with various railway items scattered about. There is a disused railwayman’s hut, disused water or oil storage, a disused signal box, a disused goods shed, a water tower and a disused coal office and bunkers.

The diorama also features a small hill with rock formation and trees. It also features overgrown trees, bushes, shrubs and flowers.

This is a bespoke diorama. That means there will only ever be one. It is already built and ready to be dispatched. It is not a diorama to be built to order making it a multiply reproduced. What you will receive will be unique and you can be safe in the knowledge that you have the only one of it’s kind.

The size of the display is 364mm square and is approximately maximum height of 100mm.

The display is three dimensional being able to be seen from all side giving a different view.

The box holding the diorama is a commandeered lid from a vinyl long playing record storage box made from MDF wood in a natural colour and hand finished with a clear satin varnish.

The base of the display is made from Styrofoam.

I have used constructed kits and scenic items to create the scene which have been weathered by hand to give the impression of age and neglect.

A superb and realistic N gauge display that would look good on a table, on a shelf or on a desk as a nice feature and talking point.

Please note again that this diorama will not be repeated so it is a unique artwork for the collector.
