Description

Those who survive the harsh conditions of the wilderness have little time for small-talk, and so prefer to introduce themselves in simple ways: for example, displaying a trophy they took from a savage beast that made the mistake of crossing their path.

That being said, it’s not usually a good idea to question whether or not the person wearing the trophy is the one who necessarily *earned* it, so they can also be a fashion statement.

This was taken from a Balrog, a Fiend of the Underworld. Little is known of the Balrog as a species, save for its infernal origins, terrifying form, and that they are almost impossible to kill.

*Almost*.

In addition to retaining the glow of infernal fire, this trophy is also adorned with two Dwarfish Delvers’ protective runes: “Safety In The Deep”, and “Banishment Of Evil”

Those who wear trophies of a slain Balrog are said to be blessed souls, capable of defying the odds in even the darkest of situations.
