Fused Glass Piano Keyboard Wave

Description

Handmade in my studio near Cambridge, this elegant fused glass piano/keyboard ornament has been fired twice in my kiln: once to fuse the black and white keys to each other and the clear background, and a second time to form the wave shape. Each time, it is cooled very slowly to avoid thermal shocks and create a durable and beautiful piece of art.

It would make a lovely gift for a pianist or keyboardist. It is freestanding and measures approximately 23cm wide by 12cm tall by 4cm deep (front to back of wave).

Every item I make is individually handcrafted and unique, so there might be slight variations between the item photographed and the item you receive – but the basic size, design, layout and colours will be the same. Fused glass is an art form and includes natural variations in the glass, including small bubbles or blemishes.

I carry stock of some items, but in many cases I make them to order. My dispatch times for “made to order” items are usually 1-2 weeks, but please send me a message if you need something more urgently and I will see what I can do.

All of my packaging is reused and/or recyclable.
